




Psalm 71 reflects on a lifetime of trusting God. Psalm 72 prays for justice and compassion from a righteous King. Both show a deep desire to see God’s goodness continue.
David pours out his heart in distress, asking God to rescue him. Yet, even in pain, he chooses to praise and wait on God’s timing.
These psalms are filled with celebration—calling all people to shout praises to God for His awesome power, His rescue, and His daily care.

Psalm 45 is a royal wedding song pointing to a perfect King; Psalms 46–47 focus on God’s power, protection, and victory over chaos. Together, they help us see God as both our refuge and reigning King.
“Why am I discouraged?” David asks in Psalm 42. These psalms express deep sadness, confusion, and longing for God during hard times.
These psalms reflect on the shortness of life, the pain of betrayal, and the need to wait silently before God. Yet, David holds on to hope and praises God’s faithfulness.

These psalms call us to live with clean hands and a pure heart before God, to welcome His presence, and to rely on His mercy. David shows how confidence in God’s character fuels a lifestyle of honesty, worship, and humility.
Psalm 22 begins with deep pain and feelings of abandonment, echoing the future words of Jesus on the cross, but it ends in renewed hope. Psalm 23 shifts dramatically, reminding us that God is our caring Shepherd who walks with us through every season of life.
These psalms reveal God’s glory in creation, the value of His Word, and the confidence we can have when we rely on Him. David praises God for victories, recognizing that every success comes from the Lord.
David calls out for God’s help and rescue, and God shows up with power and protection. Psalm 18 paints a powerful picture of God as a deliverer who hears our cries and comes to our defense like a mighty warrior.
David goes from crying out “How long, Lord?” to declaring his trust and joy in God. These psalms show that it’s okay to question God–as long as we stay in conversation with Him. David finds lasting joy in God's presence, not in changing circumstances.
David cries out in frustration that the wicked seem to win, but he chooses to believe that God sees, God hears, and God will act. These psalms show that faith means holding on even when you don’t feel God close.
David wrestles with being falsely accused and seeks justice from God, yet he still praises God for being a righteous judge and protector. He celebrates God’s greatness and finds strength by remembering who God is.
These psalms reveal David’s emotional struggles—worry, sadness, and exhaustion—but also his unshakable belief that God hears and answers prayer. David ends his prayers with peace, even though his problems haven’t gone away yet.
