Make a difference in the lives kids (ages 0-10) at PORTICO!
Join our team of dedicated support workers for kids with special needs.
Invest in the lives of junior high students, as a small group leader or worship leader.
Partner with our ministry teams as we help high schoolers grow deeper in their faith.
Serve as a camp counsellor, storyteller, worship leader, lunchtime supervisor, security or nurse!
Use your musical talents to lead youth in worship
Ushers, Greeters, and Newcomer Hosts ensure that visitors feel welcome when they arrive at PORTICO.

Assist with meal prep and beverage service at special events.
Use your customer service skills to raise funds for kingdom builders.
Help with admin tasks at the church office during business hours.
Capture images to promote PORTICO events on social media and the website.

Be part of a team of camera operators, video switchers, and audio/visual operators.
Use your talents as an instrumentalist or vocalist for God's glory.
Everyone is welcome to join PORTICO's choir, that performs at special events.

You can apply to become a volunteer by filling out our online application form. Please put aside 20-30 minutes to complete the application. Some volunteer opportunities will require references, so make sure to have that information before you apply.

Yes, absolutely! This is a great place to get started. Whether you're new to PORTICO or have been here for a while, we have incredible opportunities for you! We will walk you through the process and train you in an area you’re interested in. There are so many different areas to explore – we want you to find one that you love to serve in!

As a church, it is critical that we provide a safe and protected environment for all of our attendees, especially our children and vulnerable adults. There is a 6-month waiting period for anyone interested in serving with children/youth/tech at PORTICO and applicants are required to complete the Plan to Protect (PTP) training, as well as a Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).
