Sunday

Reflect on the weekly readings with the following questions:

1. Psalm 1 describes the person who delights in the law of the Lord as being like a tree planted by streams of water.
In what ways are you staying “planted” in God’s Word right now? How is it shaping your thoughts and decisions?

2. Psalm 3 shows David crying out to God when surrounded by enemies.
When you feel overwhelmed or afraid, do you respond by turning to God in prayer like David did? Why or why not?

3. Psalm 8 marvels at God's creation and asks, “What are mere mortals that you should think about them?”
How does remembering your place in God’s creation affect your sense of identity and purpose?

4. In Psalm 13, David moves from despair to trust, ending with, “But I trust in your unfailing love.”
When God feels silent or distant, what helps you continue trusting in His love and timing?

5. Psalm 18 is David’s song of praise for God’s deliverance and strength.
Can you think of a time when God rescued you or gave you strength? How could sharing that story encourage someone else?
