  2. Read Luke 7:18-19. In verse 18, John hears about Jesus. How does knowing about Jesus sometimes leave us feeling uncertain or incomplete?

  3. Read Luke 7:20-28. What can we learn from Jesus’ response to John’s disciples about the way he revealed his true identity?

  4. Luke 7:21-22. Jesus tells John’s disciples to report what they had seen and heard. Why do you think Jesus pointed to what people could see and hear instead of giving a direct yes or no? What does this show us about how faith grows?
