Reflect on the weekly readings with the following questions:

  1. Paul urges believers to pray for all people, including those in authority (v. 1-2). How often do you pray for leaders in your community, country, and church? How can you make intercessory prayer a regular part of your life?

  2. Verse 4 states that God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. How does this truth shape your attitude toward sharing the gospel with others, even those who seem far from God?

  3. Paul emphasizes that Jesus is the one mediator between God and humanity (v. 5-6). What does this mean for your personal relationship with God, and how does it impact the way you approach Him in prayer?

  4. In verse 8, Paul instructs believers to pray with holy hands, free from anger and disputing. Are there any unresolved conflicts or attitudes in your heart that may be hindering your prayers? How can you seek reconciliation?

  5. Paul speaks about appropriate conduct and modesty in worship (v. 9-15). How does your outward behavior and attitude reflect your inward faith? In what ways can you honor God with both your heart and actions?
