Life throws punches—but God’s Word is our anchor. Are you rooted?

 Life can throw everything plus the kitchen sink at you. Sometimes it's so easy to be knocked down or feel imbalanced. In 1 Timothy 4, Paul gives us a powerful challenge. Paul says, stand firm, stay grounded in God's word. He warns that false teachings will try to pull people away from the truth.

Life can throw punches and the enemy will try to knock us over. If we are rooted, planted firm in the Word of God, He will keep us grounded. Paul calls us to devote ourselves to Scripture, to teaching and to godly living because when we live out the truth, not only do we guard ourselves, but we help others find life too.

So today, what can you do to firmly place yourself in the word of God so that when things are thrown your way, you'll stand firm?
