Sunday
Reflect on the weekly readings with the following questions:
Peter emphasizes the importance of humility, honour, and godly character in our relationships. How can you reflect Christ’s love and gentleness in your closest relationships, whether at home, at work, or with friends? (1 Peter 3:1–7).
Believers are called to live in harmony, show compassion, and repay evil with blessing. Is there someone you need to forgive, encourage, or treat with greater kindness in order to reflect the heart of Christ? (1 Peter 3:8–12)
Peter encourages Christians to be ready to explain the hope they have, doing so with gentleness and respect. If someone asked you today why you have hope in Jesus, how would you answer, and does your life support your words? (1 Peter 3:13–17)
Christ suffered once for sins to bring us to God, demonstrating His complete victory over sin and death. How does Jesus’ sacrifice and victory give you confidence when you face suffering, fear, or spiritual battles? (1 Peter 3:18–20)
Peter points to the significance of Christ’s resurrection and His authority over all things. How does knowing that Jesus reigns with all authority change the way you approach your current challenges, anxieties, and future plans? (1 Peter 3:21–22)
