Pastor Hana’s Weekly Reflection
Nothing about you is hidden from God AND you are still completely loved.
Psalm 139 begins with a powerful reminder: before we ever speak, before we act, before we even understand our own thoughts, God already knows us completely. He knows when we sit and when we rise. He understands our thoughts from far away. Nothing about our lives is hidden from Him.
That truth can feel overwhelming or incredibly comforting. Being fully known means we don’t have to pretend with God. We don’t have to clean ourselves up before coming to Him or find the perfect words to say. God invites us to be honest because He already sees our hearts.
David doesn’t write this psalm out of fear, but out of trust. He knows that being known by God is not a threat. It’s a gift. The God who knows us fully is the same God who loves us deeply and walks with us faithfully.
When we remember that we are fully known by God, it frees us to live with openness, humility, and trust. We can bring our whole selves before Him, confident that we are seen and still loved.
How does knowing that God fully knows you change the way you approach Him today?
