Hana’s Weekly Reflection

The real “Greatest Of All Time” served and sacrificed!

Imagine this… the best player on the team keeps setting others up to score instead of chasing their own stats. Or the CEO stays late to clean the office.

It doesn’t make sense… unless you understand what real greatness looks like. But that’s exactly what Jesus did.

In John 12–17, Jesus knows what’s coming.

And instead of pulling away, He leans in. He serves. He teaches. He calls His followers to stay connected to Him—‘Abide in me.’ He’s not scrambling. He’s preparing.

Then in John 19 everything gets quiet. Heavy. The cross wasn’t an accident.nIt wasn’t out of His control. Jesus isn’t losing. He’s choosing. Choosing the cross. Choosing sacrifice. Choosing you.

And with His final breath, He says: “It is finished.”

This wasn’t the end of the story - but the moment everything changed.

Easter isn’t just about what Jesus did—it’s about what He’s inviting us into. To serve like Him. To stay connected to Him. To receive His grace. And to be restored by Him.

So here’s the question—

Are you just celebrating Easter… or are you actually following Jesus?
