Pastor Hana’s Weekly Reflection
Your life speaks volumes! Let your faith be what people notice first.
Have you ever noticed how people naturally imitate what they see? Kids copy their parents, younger siblings, copy older ones, and even adults pick up habits from people around them. That's what happened in Thessalonika. The believers in Thessalonika didn't just talk about their faith, they lived it. And Paul says that their faith became a model for other Christians in the region.
People were watching them and the way they trusted God, even in tough times, encouraged others to do the same.
And here's the thing, whether we realize it or not, our lives are an example too. People notice how we respond when things don't go our way. How we treat others and whether our actions match what we say we believe. You don't have to be perfect, but you could be real, consistent and faithful.
And just like the Thessalonians, our lives can ring out the message of Jesus, not only through our words, but through the way that we live.
And the coolest part is that God can use your everyday choices as an encouragement to someone else's faith.
So, ask yourself this – what are people seeing when they look at you?
If we're living with love, kindness, and faith, people will see Jesus reflected in us, and that's exactly how we become an example – by letting our faith be visible even in the everyday world.
