Reflect on the weekly readings with the following questions:

  1. Naomi encourages Ruth to approach Boaz for redemption (Ruth 3:1–5). How can wise counsel from others help us recognize God’s opportunities in our lives?

  2. Ruth follows Naomi’s instructions with trust and humility (Ruth 3:5–7). What does Ruth’s obedience teach us about trusting God even when the situation feels uncertain?

  3. Ruth asks Boaz to “spread the corner of your covering over me” (Ruth 3:9). What does this request reveal about Ruth’s faith and her understanding of redemption?

  4. Boaz responds with integrity and respect, choosing to follow the proper order of redemption (Ruth 3:11–13). Why is integrity especially important when we have power, opportunity, or influence?

  5. Naomi tells Ruth to wait because Boaz will settle the matter (Ruth 3:18). Why can waiting be one of the hardest parts of faith? How can we learn to trust God during seasons of waiting?
