Nana’s Weekly Reflection
What if wisdom isn’t just about making good decisions… but about becoming the right kind of person?
In Proverbs 1–8, wisdom is described as a voice calling out in the streets - it's not whispering - it's not hiding. The voice is crying out, “Listen to me!”
And at the center of it all is this truth: “Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge.”
When we put God first, everything else begins to align.
These chapters paint two clear paths:
One path listens to wisdom—choosing humility, discipline, integrity....the path that leads to life, security, and peace.
The other path ignores wisdom—chasing shortcuts, temptation, and pride. This path looks exciting at first… but it quietly leads to regret and destruction.
Every day, voices compete for our attention. Culture. Friends. Desire. Fear.
But wisdom is still calling.
So pause today and ask: "Which voice am I following?" Because the voice you listen to today… shapes who you become tomorrow.
