Pastor Hana’s Weekly Reflection

  • What would it look like for you to step out in faith and trust God’s promises, even when the future feels uncertain?

Faith means walking without the map, but never without God.

Imagine God saying, “Pack up your stuff, leave everything familiar, and just start walking. I’ll tell you where you’re going… later.” That’s exactly what happened to Abram. No GPS. No address. No detailed itinerary, just a promise from God that it would be worth it.

When God calls us, He often doesn’t give us the whole picture. He may not tell you exactly what your future will look like, what challenges you’ll face, or even how long the journey will be.

But He does promise His presence, His guidance, and His faithfulness along the way.

Abram could’ve stayed where it was comfortable. But he chose to step into the unknown because he trusted the One who was calling. And that decision changed everything, not just for him, but for generations to come.

Sometimes following God feels risky. It means leaving behind old habits, safe plans, or the need to have every answer first. But here’s the truth: God’s call may not always be specific, but it is always worth it. His plans are bigger, better, and more life-giving than anything we could come up with on our own.

Take a moment and ask yourself this question: Is there something God might be asking you to step into, even if you don’t have all the details?
