How do you respond when God’s timing feels different from your own, especially when impatience leads to difficult choices?
“Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
This question from God to Abraham and Sarah came at a moment of doubt. Sarah had just laughed at the idea of having a child in her old age. From a human perspective, it seemed impossible. But God gently reminded them that His power isn’t limited by our circumstances.
We all face situations that appear beyond fixing. Our dreams get delayed, a tough diagnosis may be received, and doors are sometimes closed. But Genesis 18:14 challenges us to shift our focus from the size of the problem to the greatness of God.
When fear and frustration find a way in, remember: Nothing is too hard for the Lord. Not then, and not now! We can find comfort, peace and hope in who our God is!
