In the parking lot at the Mississauga Campus
To celebrate our diversity, every year Portico families come together to prepare and serve a variety of food from their country of origin.
Everyone comes dressed for the occasion in traditional outfits, and the church is decorated with different national flags, as thousands of attendees visit each food station to sample new and familiar delicacies from around the world.
Ways to participate in this year’s event:
Represent your country at a food table!
Country Host - coordinate food, servers and set up of your country's table.
Server - assist with serving food at your country's table.
Food Contributor - bring food for your country's table.
Please note: Each country team is responsible for coordinating and providing any required food warmers, kitchen equipment, and serving utensils. As the event will take place outdoors, the PORTICO kitchen will not be available for use. PORTICO will provide plates, cutlery, napkins, and water for all attendees.
Perform in the Cultural Presentation
Sign up to sign, dance, or perform something traditional to your country of origin.
We look forward to celebrating this outdoor event with you!
