Reflect on the weekly readings with the following questions:
Paul describes a time when people will be lovers of themselves, money, and pleasure rather than lovers of God (v. 1-5). Do you see any of these attitudes in the world around you—or even in your own life? How can you guard your heart against them?
Paul cautions against those who appear godly on the outside but reject its true power (2 Timothy 3:5). What does authentic godliness look like in everyday life, and how can you make sure your faith is real and not merely for show?
Paul reminds Timothy of the persecution and hardships he has endured for Christ (v. 10-12). Have you ever faced challenges or opposition because of your faith? How can you stay strong and faithful in difficult times?
Paul affirms that all Scripture is inspired by God and is valuable for teaching, correcting, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16–17). How can you grow closer to God's Word so it changes the way you think, act, and live?
In verse 14, Paul tells Timothy to continue in what he has learned and been convinced of. What spiritual truths have you learned that you need to hold onto more firmly? How can you remain steadfast in your faith, no matter what comes your way?
