Reflect on the weekly readings with the following questions:

  1. Paul encourages Timothy to be strong in the grace of Christ (v. 1). In what areas of your life do you need to rely more on God’s strength rather than your own?

  2. Paul uses the examples of a soldier, an athlete, and a farmer to illustrate perseverance and dedication in the Christian life (v. 3-6). Which of these examples resonates with you the most, and how can you apply it to your walk with Christ?

  3. In verse 15, Paul urges Timothy to present himself as a worker approved by God, rightly handling the Word of truth. How can you grow in your understanding of Scripture and ensure that you are living according to God’s truth?

  4. Paul warns against godless chatter and false teachings that can spread like gangrene (v. 16-17). What influences—whether media, relationships, or distractions—might be pulling you away from sound biblical teaching, and how can you guard against them?

  5. Paul calls believers to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, and to gently instruct others rather than quarrel (v. 22-25). How can you reflect these qualities in your conversations and relationships, especially when facing disagreements?
