Sunday

Reflect on the weekly readings with the following questions:

1. Where do you currently place your hope, and how do the readings this week invite you to anchor your hope more fully in God’s promises rather than your circumstances? (Genesis 3:14–15; Jeremiah 33:14–16)

2. In what areas of your life is God inviting you to wait with trust instead of anxiety, believing that His Word and timing are good? (Psalm 130:5–8)

3. How does reflecting on the humble beginnings of Jesus (Bethlehem, Mary, the promise of a Shepherd-King) reshape your understanding of how God works in your own life? (Micah 5:2–5; Luke 1:26–38)

4. What is one step of obedience or faith you feel God is asking you to take this week—just as Mary responded, “Let it be according to Your word”? (Luke 1:26–38)

5. How does the picture of “a great light shining in darkness” encourage you as you think about areas in your life, family, or world that feel dark or uncertain? (Isaiah 9:2–7)
