Sunday
Reflect on the weekly readings with the following questions:
Peter encourages believers to rid themselves of sinful attitudes and crave the pure spiritual milk of God’s Word. What attitudes or habits do you need to let go of, and how can you cultivate a greater hunger for God’s Word each day? (1 Peter 2:1–3)
Jesus is described as the Living Stone and the Cornerstone of our faith. Is Christ truly the foundation of your decisions, priorities, and relationships, or have other influences begun to take His place? (1 Peter 2:4–8)
Peter declares that believers are “a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation.” How does knowing your identity in Christ change the way you live and represent Him in your home, workplace, school, or community? (1 Peter 2:9–12)
Peter calls believers to live as free people who honour others and submit to authority for the Lord’s sake. How can you demonstrate Christlike humility, respect, and integrity in situations where you disagree with those in authority? (1 Peter 2:13–17)
Jesus endured unjust suffering without retaliation, entrusting Himself to the Father. When you experience unfair treatment or hardship, how can you follow Christ’s example by responding with grace, forgiveness, and trust in God’s justice? (1 Peter 2:18–25)
